Animals & Zones

  • Wild Africa: The Wild Africa zone is home to animals like Zebras and Giraffes made to resemble their habitat. There is a dedicated place where caretakers do routine checks for African Wild Dogs that tourists can observe. There are also a lot of artefacts of animal specimens that you can learn about.  
  • Treetop trails: This is an elevated section that features Siamangs that swing from tree to tree and even False Gharial that swims underneath. This zone is around 10 kilometres long and is made to give an experience of walking through a rainforest.
  • Reptopia: Home to over 60 types of reptiles, this is home to some of the most endangered reptiles across the world. The zone has experiences worth trying like the Lizard Keeper Talk and Fun For Kids. Some of the reptiles here include the Amazon Milk Frog, Crocodile Monitor, Emperor Scorpion, and the Electric Blue Gecko. This zone is made to resemble the natural habitat for reptiles so that kids can learn more about the different types of snakes.
  • Primate Kingdom: The zone has lush greenery consisting of palm trees, wild grasses, and bamboo trees divided into a customized zone for each primate. Some of the animals here include Squirrel Monkeys, Ring-tailed Lemurs, Black Howler Monkeys, and even the Black-handed Spider Monkey. 
  • Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia: Home to the world-famous Coffea Arabica, this region also houses different types of animals like a Meerkat, Nubian Ibex, Common Cusimanse, and even the Rock Hyrax. You will also learn a lot of interesting trivia, like the animals in this region were a part of the earliest human settlements that date back to millions of years ago.

  • People are requested to not wear strong scented perfume as animals are sensitive to odor.
  • Please reach at the location at least 45 minutes prior from your preferred time.
  • ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of arrival.
  • Participants are not allowed to carry any sharp object, lighter, luggage bag, alcohol, knife, etc.
  • Wi-Fi is available through out the park.
  • Transfers are available throughout Singapore town, excluding the Woodlands and Changi areas.
  • Refrain from feeding animals unless it is part of a supervised feeding session conducted by zookeepers.
  • Keep to designated pathways and viewing areas to avoid disturbing the animals and ensure your own safety.
  • Do not climb fences or barriers or attempt to touch the animals, as this may pose risks to both visitors and animals.
  • Keep children under close supervision at all times to ensure their safety and prevent any accidental harm to themselves or the animals.
  • Observe and follow any instructions given by zoo staff or volunteers for your safety and the well-being of the animals.
  • Flash photography is not permitted as it can disturb the animals and other visitors.
  • Pets and service animals are permitted in the Public Areas, but not in the Ticketed Areas.
  • Please keep all pets and service animals leashed, clean up after them and dispose of all waste in a hygienic manner.
  • Smoking is not permitted within the zoo premises.
