Plan Your Visit to Gardens By the Bay

1. By MTR: This is the most convenient and cheapest way to reach Gardens by the Bay. Take the Circle Line or Downtown Line and disembark at the nearest station, which is Bayfront MRT Station (CE1/DT16). Once here, you have to take Exit B and follow the underground linkway. Upon exiting, cross the Meadow Bridge or Dragonfly Bridge right into Gardens by the Bay.

2. By Bus: There are several bus routes available if you are wondering how to go to Gardens by the Bay. You have to first reach the Tanjong Pagar MRT Station (EW15), take Exit C and walk towards International Plaza, Anson Road to come to bus stop no. 03223. From here, take Bus No. 400 to bus stop no. 03371 along Marina Gardens Drive.

3. By Car: You can easily drive to Gardens by the Bay if you prefer the most comfortable and hassle-free means. If you are thinking about how to get to Gardens by the Bay by car, you can first drive over to Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE) and then take Exit 3. From here, you have to continue on to Central Boulevard and then take a right to enter Marina Gardens Drive.

It is located in the central part of the city, near the Marina Bay Waterfront and is easily accessible by bus, train, and car. It is very close to the Bayfront MRT Station and right across the Dragonfly Bridge.

2. Best Time to Visit

a) Weekdays vs. Weekend:If you want to avoid big crowds and enjoy walking around the garden with not too many people around, the best time to visit here is during the weekdays. If you visit Gardens by the Bay around early morning or during the late afternoons on weekdays, you can enjoy its various features in peace. Weekends however, tend to get very crowded. Plan your visit according to the timings of the various attractions at the park as opening hours differ for each.

b) Peak Season vs. Low Season:The best time of the year to visit Gardens by the Bay Singapore is from July through November. This is when you will find the least crowds giving you adequate room to explore at peace. However, if you want to experience warm sunshine and great tropical climate, you should visit between the months of February and April. The festival season, which is around the time of the Chinese New Year, is a very busy tie here and attracts a lot of tourists from across the world. December to June is a good time to visit if you want to experience the place when it is bustling with activity.

• You can avail the electronic lockers at the garden, which charges a one-time fee for up to 21 hours of use. There are various locker sizes available at the Golden Garden, The Canopy, Floral Fantasy, and Bayfront Pavilion
• There is free Wi-Fi available at the Cloud Forest, Flower Dome, Golden Garden, Supertree Grove, Floral Fantasy, and Far East Organization Children’s Garden.

• Visitors are expected to refrain from plucking, stamping on, damaging, or climbing any plant.
• All trash must go inside the garbage bins.
• No picnic furniture is allowed in any part of the garden. Picnics are only allowed in the open lawns and gardens, not in the conservatories.
• BBQs are not allowed here.
• No food and drinks are to be consumed inside the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest.
• Pet dogs are permitted only on a leash and in the Outdoor gardens. They are not allowed in the Conservatories, on the OCBC Skyway or the Children’s Garden. Owners are to clean up after dogs and dispose of the garbage hygienically.
